CISO Sam Massiello on Gates Corporation's IAM Modernization Journey

Gates brought their vision of a global authentication authority to life with advisory, configuration, deployment, and employee training.

Like many organizations, the Denver based manufacturing company Gates Corporation was stretching a variety of homegrown and older Microsoft systems to their breaking point (Active Directory and Active Directory Federation Services). While using these decentralized tools, the lack of visibility and limited flexibility to support modern use cases was adding unneeded complexity to the Gates’ security program.

Gates was able to bring the vision of a global authentication authority to life with advisory, configuration, deployment, and employee training.

Watch this OnDemand webinar and learn how Gates:

  • Developed clear visibility into which employees are using the network and how;
  • Added an ability to provision and deprovision users from applications, using what they refer to as “one-click deactivation.”;
  • Expanded their SSO footprint, with an eye on moving into customer IAM next;
  • Built a solid security foundation centered on identity.
